| 桜島を見下ろす場所にある｢輝北うわば公園｣は過去７回、日本一「星空がきれいに見える場所」に選ばれた絶景の地です。この建築は、過疎・高齢化の進む町を “星空の美しい町” として世界に情報発信し高原の持つ土地の精神性と融合して、宇宙へのファンタジーを喚起して天空と大地、そして人に呼び掛けます古代感愛の地を活かし、広域に存在する聖地と呼応し過疎という受苦を乗り越え、コミュニティの活性化と交流の願いがこめられています。輝北天球館は、生きるシンボルとして古代性と未来性を内包し現在に生きる姿をいきいきと放射する環境生命体です。 |
| Although Kihoku-cho had suffered from the problems of decrease of population
or increase of aged citizens,birth of this architecture causes to make
Kihoku-cho be world famous as “the town of beautiful night sky.”And the
museum works with the spirituality of highlands,inspires fantasy of cosmos
and continues calling to global surroundings. |
